dawn, and look forward to a day filled with outdoor adventure
on a remote working farm set amidst the sprawling mountains
of the Baviaans River. Opportunities for nature lovers and
outdoor folk abound, and guests will have unlimited access
to a pristine peacefull environment boasting and an abundance
mammals, reptiles, birds and indigenous plants. 
RIBBOK VALLEY LODGE is situated in the Baviaans River Valley,
between Bedford and Tarkastad about 2 hours drive from Port
Elizabeth or Graaff Reniet. Our philosophy is to allow you
total freedom in how you spend your time here. Access is
along gravel roads of generally good quality, and you should
have no problem reaching the lodge in a regular city car.
(Do however phone us first to check road conditions, as heavy
rains could make some of the bridges impassable for a day
or two).
